Summary
The film Schindler's List by Steven Spielberg was about World War II and the holocaust. This film takes places from 1 till 145 in Poland, Europe.The main character in this film is Mr. Schindler, and Nazis but there are many others. In this Jews are be taking to Concentration Camps for forced slave labor, tortured, and murdered in the worst conditions. Schindler is a businessman and is trying to make a profit at his factory. The war starts and all of his workers are sent to the concentration camps, Auschwitz. He goes to the camp and pays money for 850 Jews to work at his factory, he knows that the war will be ending soon and the Nazis will try to kill all the Jews before it ends. So he gets the Jews and they go to his factory and the war ends and the Jews are let free.

I have many things go though my head as I watched this film. I do think that Oskar Schindler is a hero, he saved many Jews with his know money that he could of used very easily on something else. Oskar did something that he could have easily gotten killed over to save the lives of others, and save generations.
I found this film very "stardirling" that some people can murder someone without second thinking or hesitation. The part in the film where some Nazis woke up took his rifle to the balcony shot a couple of Jews and then went back inside like it was nothing. That part of the film caught my attention and made me think about how innocent Jews die.
My favorite part in this film is when Oskar gives the Jews, that are about ready to sent off to Auschwitz on a train, water from a fire hydrogenate. I like this part because the Nazis think that Oskar is giving them hope and it's a big joke, but Oskar really just wants to give the thirsty Jews some water. My least Favorite part in this film is when a Nazis kills about four Jews just for the fun of it. I did not like this part because it is cruel and uncivilized.
This film reminded me a lot of this novel I read called, Night. In this novel Elie Wiesel is a Jew in a Concentration Camp trying to survive. Elie sees a lot of unpleasant deaths and torture. This novel was very eye opening and so was Schindler's List.
I think that I have learned a lot from seeing this film. I have learned that the Holocaust was a huge massacre; over six million Jews were murdered. I have also learned that no one desires to die without reason. Schindler's List has made me think more how we can't fix the past, but we can stop it from happening again.
I look over the film and see that Oskar Schindler has changed a lot throughout the film. At the beginning of this film all Oskar had in mind was about money and how much of a profit he was making. By the end of this film he saw that Jews were getting killed for no reason and did as much as he could to save the Jews.
